It's lovely to see all the children back at Tayday all looking happy and positive given these strange times.
We have embraced hand sanitising and keeping safe. TayPlay's main priority is to provide a clean safe place for children to relax, have fun and be creative in.
It's lovely to see smiling faces and the enjoyment of the variety of different activities that we provide including: Table Tennis, Den Building, Art Projects and Lego Challenges. The toast and biscuits are going down well also 😁
TayPlay's number one priority is the safety and safeguarding of all children who attend our services.
Social distancing requires everyone (children + adults) to stay six feet (two metres) apart at all times. If you can reach out to touch someone, you are too close. These guidelines may change depending on governments advice.
We have taken government guidelines and have reviewed how we operate within all our services. One of the major things we have now put into play is our 'Social Distancing' Policy.
This can be viewed on our 'Parents Page' or within our GDPR policy.
We are now a week into our TAYPLAY ACTIVITY CHALLENGE!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has been joining in with all of our daily challenges.
We have seen some amazing designs and creativity which are being shared to our TayPlay Community Page on Facebook.
Our activity challenges are released on Facebook at 7.00am. Parents have until 6.30pm to post their child's/children's entry onto our community page.
Best of luck to everyone!
PE WITH TAYPLAY
TayPlay is excited to start our very own YouTube channel.
Our YouTube channel will be focusing on getting children moving. We understand that it's difficult to engage children all day with a variety of different activities.
Our PE WITH TAYPLAY series will deliver 30 minute PE Lessons for children aged 2-6 years and 7-11 years. The sessions will be fun and engaging for all abilities.
We are excited to start this new venture and to get children ACTIVE!

New TayPlay Policy
The safeguarding and safety of children is TayPlay's number one priority. TayPlay has created the 'Blue Clipboard Policy' (BCP).
The main aim of this policy is to record incidents as soon as they happen including:
- Fall out with friends
- Issues which arise.
Parents will see these blue clipboards throughout all TayPlay Services.
Parents/ gaurdians will be asked to sign the report form on collection. This will be consent that the parent/ guardian knows ALL the details regarding the incident.
TayPlay has created an action plan for COVID-19.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have had to take government advice and cancel ALL our services until further notice. This is including our April Holiday Camps in the following areas:
We will be keeping everyone updated when our services will make a return.
Please contact us directly to see our Action Plan.
